Composition per liter:

Yeast extract................................................................1.8g
(NH4)2SO4 ..................................................................1.46g
MgSO4 ·7H2O.................................................................0.6g
CaCl2 ·2H2O................................................................0.04g
FeSO4 ·7H2O................................................................1.9mg
CoCl2 ......................................................................1.0mg
CuSO4 ·5H2O................................................................1.0mg
MnSO4 ·H2O.................................................................1.0mg
Na2MoO4 ·2H2O .............................................................1.0mg
ZnSO4 ·7H2O................................................................1.0mg
pH 7.0 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Adjust pH to 7.0 with
NaOH (approximately 0.18g). Distribute into tubes or flasks. Auto-
clave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use: For the cultivation of Rahnella aquatilis.
