Cornmeal Phytophthora Isolation Medium No. 1

培养基配方
Composition per liter:
Agar.......................................................................15.0g
Cornmeal, solids from infusion .............................................2.0g
Vancomycin..................................................................0.2g
Pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) .............................................0.1g
Pimaricin..................................................................0.01g
pH 5.6–6.0 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components, except pimaricin and
vancomycin, to distilled/deionized water and bring volume to 1.0L.
Mix thoroughly. Gently heat until boiling. Autoclave for 15 min at 15
psi pressure–121°C. Aseptically add pimaricin and vancomycin. Mix
thoroughly. Pour into sterile Petri dishes.
Use: For the cultivation of Phytophthora species.
